I never really particularly liked Windows Media Player, but it was nice to see it on the Mac platform, if only because it indicated positive support within Microsoft for continued Mac development. Oh well. I have to give them credit for at least offering an alternative:
It also has announced a deal to offer for free the Flip4Mac plug-in from Telestream that will allow Mac OS X users to play Windows Media video and audio directly from Apple’s QuickTime Player software.
