Michelle Malkin talks cheap

August 18th, 2006

Michelle Malkin: Them or us: Personally, I have no such quandary. It is one thing to debate the ethics of torture in a general sense, whether captured terrorists can be subject to uncomfortable conditions in order to extract information about their network and associates.

Is she serious? Torture is “uncomfortable?” It sounds like an inconvenience, like sitting next to a screaming baby on an airplane. Somehow I doubt many survivors of modern torture would use a blasé word like “uncomfortable” to describe their ordeals. What cheap rhetoric.
